Hi everyone!!

Yesterday I was offline most of the day, so it was a real treat to come back and see all these lovely updates! If you haven't updated yet, please leave a comment so I can add you.

Thanks so much to all of you who have left cheer after cheer, advice, encouragement and camaraderie through this challenge. It's been a lot of fun.

Lets keep at it! Just because JoNo is over, doesn't mean you can't keep hanging out here. Good luck moving forward with projects, everyone!

"Tell Me What You See"
Kevin skips ahead and looks back at what a difference two years—graduating from parochial school and entering public high school—can make on one's point of view; then he was unraveling at the sinful implication a "devil in one's heart" might mean to a good Catholic seventh grader, in 1968, he didn't bother to hide the smirk he was sporting at the image of "creeping nuns" while the Beatles asked "See how they run?"

What do Dracula and the song "DEVIL IN HER HEART" have to do with it?
 11 year-old Kevin, a seventh grader at Immaculate Conception School preparing for his Confirmation, contemplates the lyrics of this Beatles' cover and sees a "devil" connection with the un-holy and undead vampires as portrayed in a recent movie starring Christopher Lee (not Bela Lagosi as shown)—especially when it comes to the sexy vampiresses in this film who just might have "eyes that tantalize"....

Did I make my goal?

I don't know. I could go look it up but I know it has something to do with the completion of my book. My booklet. My magazine. My graphic novel. My piece. Titled "Saint Ringo—The Church, The Beatles and me"

Is it done?

No. Is it started? Yes. Is it in progress? Is it in those spaces of thought where I don't have something else assigned? Has it been keyed into a working text document? Transcribed from scribble notes on line paper? Is it working in the background while I write this? Are there numerous sketches and illustration ideas that have been worked up only as thought-dreams just dying to be birthed? Have I done the necessary research (or necessary enough—this is not a thesis or the blueprints to space travel) on 60's illustration styles and magazine layouts? Those technical theological questions and details that will not reveal the amount of lapse in my religious membership since that late summer in 1966?

Is it happening?
(to answer in an appropriate cliche)

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah.....YEAH!
